Enoch Society is a group of Christians who live & work in Toronto and in Hong Kong. We have had some close encounters with the sufferings and darkness associate with the adversities of growing old while not knowing the grace of God through the salvation of Jesus Christ. Through our professional works or personal lives (as chaplains, pastors, geriatric nurses, social workers in health care, seminary students, occupational therapists, personal support workers for live-alone seniors, caregivers for aging parents and grandparents, friends of aging friends with terminal illness & various mental illnesses), we grief the lostness of our aging friends of different part of the globe who suffer in silence & alone.

L’Arche began in 1964 when Canadian Jean Vanier, who was living in France at the time, invited 3 men from the local institution to live with him. Jean was horrified at the lack of value society held for these men and others like them, and thought a simple life of mutual respect and appreciation might serve them all a bit better. This seed led to the springing up of several homes and communities around the globe, all inspired by Jean’s original human–to-human model. L’Arche today is an international network of over 140 intentional communities in almost 30 countries where people with intellectual disabilities and their assistants live, work, and create home together.
Customers express appreciation for the program and staff at L'arche Toronto. They find artistic activities helpful in managing stress and anxiety.
