At the Carlingwood Y, our doors are open for those who wish to get healthier, find support, and make friends for life. The Carlingwood Y is a 20, 000 sq.-ft. inclusive, community-based facility providing unique programs and services that meet the needs of the community. This centre offers access to cardio and strength equipment, a group fitness class studio, a cycling studio, a small pool for water fitness classes and children's lessons, a children's play area, and universal, men's and women's locker rooms. Sample programs include: Strength training and aerobic conditioning, group fitness classes, personal training, TRX classes, recreational and educational programming for all ages, inviting social spaces, and child minding services. The Hnatyshyn Foundation is a private charity established by the late Right Honourable Ramon John Hnatyshyn, Canada’s twenty-fourth Governor General, to assist emerging and established artists in all disciplines with their schooling, training and career development, and promote to the Canadian public the importance of the arts in our society. Since 1993, the Canadian Resource Centre for Victims of Crime (CRCVC) has been a leader in advocacy for victims and survivors of serious crime in Canada. We are a federal Not-for-Profit Corporation located in Ottawa, Ontario and bilingual services are available. All services are free of charge and confidential.
