The Vaughan Memorial Library is primarily an undergraduate research centre committed to providing the highest standard of programs, services, and resources in support of learning, teaching, research and scholarly communication. Although documents and sources exist to chronicle the changes that the Acadia Library has seen over the past one hundred and fifty years, these sources are fragmented. The Acadia Libraries Through the Years project aims to compile, document, and digitize information reflecting over one hundred and fifty years of change. The first phase began in June 2005 to research, organize and document key resources for information. The second phase of the project will be to digitize and preserve sources and enhance the Library History portal to make sources accessible to researchers and historians. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
