Tuxedo Tennis Club is a non-profit, public club that promotes fitness, recreation, community, and the sport of tennis for everyone. The club is run by a volunteer executive with students and a tennis pro. We have 6 courts, and many activities and programs to choose from, regardless of your age or skill level. If the member does not use a guest pass, guests are required to pay a $10.00 court fee. Non members can play if they pay a $10.00 court fee. All guests fees will be tracked and can be applied towards a membership. Club membership application form Club History The Town of Tuxedo originally built Tuxedo Tennis Club with 4 shale courts. Before Tuxedo was amalgamated into the City of Winnipeg, the town enhanced the club by adding lights to courts 1 through 4, and added courts 5 and 6. Over the years, with grant assistance from the City of Winnipeg and Manitoba Government, we have resurfaced and painted the courts, replaced our clubhouse, built a deck, added fences, moved the practice board, paved the walkway and practice area, added permanent benches, acquired and finally fixed our ball-machine (aka "the cannon"). We have endeavored to run the club as open, friendly and inclusive. Constitution and By-Laws The Constitution and By-Laws of the Tuxedo Tennis Club contain instructions for the administration and financial management of the Club. Heritage Victoria Community Centre Heritage Victoria Community Centre has been a vital part of our community for more than 25 years at our present location. The goal of the centre and all those who volunteer so much of their time is to provide a safe and fun environment for all members of the community. We have various programs for all age groups from babies to seniors.
