Friends Together began in 1976, and is a non-profit organization, funded through parents monthly fees and a yearly government grant. The classroom is housed at 830 North Drive in Fort Garry. Each Friends Together class has a high adult to child ratio. Classes of 16 children are supervised by a teacher, a teacher's aide and a parent helper.
