Roy Bauchman is the owner and technician of Andante Woodwind & Brass Repair. Roy received formal training in Musical Instrument Repair through a 2 year course of studies at Keyano College in Alberta, the only school in Canada to offer this specialized training. Background: Roy Bauchman has a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Oboe). He has 17 years experience as a musician, including 9 years semi-professional and professional. Primarily an oboist, he also plays saxophone, recorder, piano, guitar and took lessons on the lute and pipe organ. He has played with the Greater Victoria Concert Band and currently performs with the Westshore Community Concert Band, the Hampton Concert Orchestra and the choir of St. Luke's Anglican Church. Professional Membership: Andante Woodwind & Brass Repair is a member of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians (NAPBIRT).
