A product of partners Jim Atmore and Ken Wadsworth working closely with course architect Dan Kitsul on its overall design they created a fast playing 18 hole golf course with short but challenging holes. At par 57, only three of Hillviews fairways rate par four, but this does not mean golfers will have an easy time here for this is no chip and putt. Eight lakes (connected by a wandering creek) plus several sandtraps are in play over the courses 3375 yards, making this a target golf course where accuracy is paramount. Golfers are advised to pack a full complement of golf clubs before stepping foot on the course, as some of its holes will require use of your woods. Four of Hillviews par threes measure in at 190 yards or over, including Hillviews finishing hole which is 225 yards long. Here, the most challenging hole, the courses creek runs immediately in front of the green, and two of the lakes lie off the greens right side. Hillview Golf Course is a beloved local gem, praised for its friendly staff, challenging greens, and variety in play. ideal for golfers of all levels with reasonable prices. Customers adore the relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to improve their game. The course offers two distinct courses: the Meadows for a smoother experience, and the Summit for a greater challenge. Some patrons have even become pass holders to make the most of it.
