Vancouver Chinatown Lions Club was sponsored into Lionism by Vancouver Burrard Lions Club. Lions International approved the Charter in December 1953. The Club Charter was presented to the Club’s Board of Directors in January 1954. Since 1954, our membership has consisted of many different ethnic origins, including Chinese, Irish, Scottish, English, Jewish Italian, Japanese, Korean, First Nation, among others.
