Where Friendship Meets Tradition The Royal Canadian Curling Club or Royals as it is affectionately known is a six sheet curling club housed in a century-old building just minutes from the heart of downtown Toronto. We are one of the oldest and most diverse curling facilities in the GTA. Royals has been at Queen and Broadview since 1906, when it was home to the historic Royal Canadian Bicycle Club. Six sheets of ice were added in 1929. Curling, skating and hockey shared the rink for the next quarter century. Since 1953, the club has devoted itself exclusively to curling. The Royals is owned and operated by its members, and managed by a Board of Directors elected from its membership.
Royal Canadian Curling Club is a top-notch curling facility with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Customers appreciate the nice facilities and the helpfulness of the staff. One unique experience mentioned was a forgotten item being left at the club for pick up.

Ryerson University has transformed Maple Leaf Gardens, one of hockey’s most iconic landmarks, into the new Mattamy Athletic Centre. The largest arena in the country when it was built in the heart of downtown Toronto, Maple Leaf Gardens opened in 1931. In addition to being home to the Toronto Maple Leafs in their glory days, the Gardens also played host to world-class events including the 1972 Summit Series, a Muhammad Ali vs. George Chuvalo boxing match, and performances by the Beatles and the King of rock ‘n’ roll, Elvis Presley. Recently named a National Historic Site of Canada, the Gardens is legendary.
Mattamy Athletic Centre is a popular destination for hockey enthusiasts and visitors with its pro and junior rinks, beautiful rebuild of the old Maple Leafs stadium, and occasional free skating sessions. The facility also includes a gym and adequate change rooms. Visitors appreciate the lively atmosphere and various activities.

Camp Quality Canada is part of an international family of organizations originally founded in Australia in 1983 by Vera Entwistle. Vera’s mission was to provide a program to support children with cancer and their families, an area not being addressed by any other organization. Different groups with the Camp Quality name now run programs in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA, UK and Hong Kong. The largest of which is still the original Australian Camp Quality. Camp Quality was brought to Canada in 1988. It was initiated by a group of dedicated volunteers in Southern Ontario with the first camp being held in Priceville, Ontario. Since then, we have expanded to seven camp locations across Canada, and we continue to grow in numbers each year.
