The MHSO started work on a two-year project, Chinese Canadian Women 1923-1967: Inspiration-Innovation-Ingenuity, thanks in large part to a significant grant from the federal government’s Community Historical Recognition Program. The MHSO publicizes, preserves and makes accessible material which demonstrates the role of immigration and ethnicity in shaping the cultural and economic development of Toronto, Ontario and Canada.
