Our Community is a member of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto (Canada) and as such has adopted and follows the Uniform Community Regulations as established by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto. Our members are baptized Orthodox Christians. Our Community was established in the early 1990‘s in a effort to bring together the Greek Orthodox people in Surrey and the Fraser Valley. Before the Surrey Community was established, most people would travel to the other two Greek Orthodox churches – St. Nicholas Church in East Vancouver and St. George Cathedral in Vancouver. Customers express high regard for the priest (Father Kosta) and describe their experiences as wonderful. They also praise the church as beautiful and express satisfaction with their wedding services.
