Ambush Paintball was established in 2001 and rapidly grew to become one of British Columbia's top paintball facilities. We pride ourselves in being owned and operated by paintball players with a love for the game. With 3 fields we have something to offer all types of players, from the cqb expert to the laid back sniper. Our recreational field is always growing, and always improving. We regularly groom our fields to ensure they are free of hazards, and build new obstacles for players to utilize. Drop in on any Saturday or Sunday and join in on some of the fun, or make a booking to reserve your time any day of the week. Just down the road from our main rec field, is Ambush Speedball Park. Running every Sunday, as well as other days by reservation, it is surely the premiere tournament field in British Columbia. Vancouver is home to a bustling competitive paintball community, so our weekend practices are not to be missed. There are many teams of varying skill levels, from first timers, to world-traveled vets. You just may find some of the world's top professional players are casual regulars at our speedball practices. In 1988 while sitting around after work one Friday afternoon having a few drinks with co workers the conversation funneled into questions about this new “War Games” thing that was happening around North America. After a few more drinks it was decided that the whole company should go out and shoot each other at this “Survival Game” in Fort Langley that ran these “War Games”. So as the designated “phone caller guy”, Panther’s future founder made the calls and arrangements and in 2 weeks the entire company was out on a damp fall day playing “War Games”. Oil Based Paintballs, single shot bolt recock cattle marking Nelspot 007 marking guns and Uvex shop goggles where the equipment of choice. Customers consistently rate Panther Paintball positively, praising the friendly staff, vast fields with various map options, and great food. Some suggest improvements such as team balance, clear identification of players, andchrono-ing for safety.
