The Spa dream came with a number of obstacles. Many meetings were had with lenders that thought “A spa, what’s that?” and “we don’t even have a classification for that”. Casbah was eventually put on a waitlist for its first location in one of the busiest outdoor malls (at the time) in the lower mainland. All finally came together just as we announced the arrival of our first child. With an original staff of 5 we soon grew to 25 and by year four we were growing out of our location and decided it was time to expand. We moved literally across the parking lot to an empty (except for the bank vault which eventually was our relaxation room, no cell service in there) 4200 sq/ft. shell and three times our size. I remember walking the drywall covered floor thinking, boy I hope I can fill this place. The Casbah Day Spa in Surrey is highly regarded by customers for its relaxing atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, and high-quality beauty and wellness services. Many visitors specifically praise the spa's facials, massages, and customer service.
