Our Company History It all started in 1954 in the small town of Stony Plain. A fellow named Lee Blackburn, having some experience in the dry-cleaning industry, decided to purchase dry-cleaning equipment with the intention of starting up a small business with his brother, Jules Blackburn. As the brothersâ business grew, they began serving communities outside of Stony Plain by personally delivering garments to the customerâs homes. Throughout the generations, the Stony Plain Dry Cleaners has been passed down and is now owned and operated by Julesâ son, Len Blackburn and his wife, Debbie, with the help of their children. With the many upgrades in equipment and new technologies the Stony Plain Dry Cleaners has developed into a strong business with the ambition to serve our growing community of over 11, 000 people. In the summer of 1999, the Blackburn family chose to introduce Grove Fashion Cleaners in order to provide our services to a greater clientele. Since 1954, our company has come a long way, and it is in our dedication to continue serving our close-knit community for years to come. Stony Plain Dry Cleaners is a family-owned business with friendly and welcoming staff. Customers praise the top-notch cleaning, effective stain removal, and reasonable prices.
