The Legends offer programs for a variety of ages and skill levels, from our pre-competitive Little Legends squads (young, inexperienced, novice swimmers) to our National squad (dedicated athletes competing at a national level). The Legends also have a partnership with Memorial University by assuming the delivery of the training and competitive programs for the Memorial University Sea Hawk Swim Team. This broadens the scope of our program. Legends swimmers compete against swimmers of the same age and ability levels across the province and across the country. New swimmers may choose not to compete until the parents, coach and swimmer agree that the individual is ready. The Legends Swim Club currently trains out of two pools, the Aquarena and the Memorial University pool. This offers an excellent combination of training facilities for all club members. The Legends Swim Club employs a full-time Head Coach, full-time Assistant Head Coach, and thirteen part-time Assistant Coachesr. Our coaches are well trained and motivated individuals eager to help each child strive to achieve his/her fullest potential.

The congregation was founded in 1775 and is the second oldest in St. John’s. Sixth and seventh generation members of the families who had served the congregation for almost all of 200 years took part in the bicentennial services. These families continue their strong representation in the congregation. Known originally as the Dissenting Church of Christ, the congregation later became part of the Congregational Union of England and Wales. In 1938 it was received into the Presbyterian Church in Canada. The move to the present church, its fifth building, was made in 1959.
The St. David's Presbyterian Church is praised for its clean, traditional building and community functions that promote diversity and inclusion. Some customers appreciate the good initiatives, sincere preaching, and excellent acoustics for performances. The church is also a popular venue for groups and meetings.

Immerse yourself in our culture at Newfoundland and Labrador's largest public cultural space. It's the place where it all comes together - our history, heritage and artistic expression. The Rooms unites the Provincial Archives, Art Gallery and Museum. A place for people, The Rooms is a portal to the many stories our province has to tell. Soaring into the skyline of historic St. John's, The Rooms combines twenty-first century technology with a striking visual reference to our past. Its unique design mirrors the "fishing rooms" where families came together to process their catch. The Rooms today is also a place to gather: in them, you'll find collections, exhibits and programs that tell our stories and interpret our natural world through art, artifacts, archaeology, architecture and archival records. Precision environmental controls and security system allow The Rooms to safeguard these treasures and bring in travelling exhibits that showcase the best the world has to offer.
The Rooms is a museum and art gallery in St. John's, praised for its beautiful architecture, stunning views, and comprehensive exhibits on Newfoundland's history and culture. Visitors appreciate the affordable admission fees and interactive displays, making it a must-visit attraction for families and history buffs. The building is wheelchair accessible and offers a cafeteria with scenic harbour views.
