Boldt Pools and Spas - : Boldt Pools and Spas - 1975 - Boldt Pools Ltd. is established by brothers Peter and John Boldt as a compliment to John’s house construction business, John Boldt Construction. 1978 - The retail store moves from a 6’ x 6’ cubicle in Peter and Fern’s garage to an even larger garage at their new home across the street. 1981 - The retail store outgrows the garage at the new home and moves into a small building at 341 Lake Street. 1982 - Peter spends the off-season building a 2, 400 sq. retail store at 19 Secord Drive to house the expanding business. 1990 - After outgrowing its facilities, the retail store moves to a 5, 000 sq. building at 23 Secord Drive. 1992 - Boldt Pool Construction Ltd. is established by Peter Boldt and his youngest son, Ted Boldt, who grew up with the business. 1997 - Boldt Pools builds their 1000th inground pool at the home of a second generation Boldt pool owner. 1999 - Boldt Pools opens their first spa showroom on the second floor of the pool store. 2001 - Boldt Pools opens a beautiful new spa showroom at 20 Nihan Drive. 2003 - Our 1500th inground pool is built! 2005 - We celebrate 30 years of business.
