Originally known as Len’s Odds and Ends, the store was opened in March 1981 by Len Booth and has remained in the same location ever since. At the time, it was a Sci-Fi bookstore with one rack of comic books. Len started to stock used comics and then new comics in 1982. July 2000 Kim and Cheryl Stevens bought the store and renamed it Mostly Comics. Kim, a lifelong resident of St. Catharines, was actually one of Len’s first customers. Now Mostly Comics sells comics and comic related products and apparel, as well as graphic novels and Anime products. The store also carries movie, tv and music action figures and apparel. A selection of board games provides entertainment for the whole family. If you are looking for something specific, give Mostly Comics a call and we will find it for you. Mostly Comics is a comic store with an impressive selection of comics, action figures, and trade paperbacks. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, creating a welcoming environment for customers. Prices may be slightly higher than online but supporting a small business is worth it. The store offers freebies for kids and life-size character pictures. Cluttered at times, but the large assortment of old and new comics, variant covers, and independent comics make up for it.
