As an EMT, Chris Becker had a long list of injuries he had seen and dealt with. He never thought that he would have to use his training to save the life of someone he loved. After a near-fatal experience involving his young daughter, Chris recognized that not everyone needed advanced training to provide the most basic and life-saving care in an emergency. Chris reached out to the Saskatoon community in 2001 and started SharaLife First Aid. As a sole proprietor, Chris became an Authorized Training Partner with the Canadian Red Cross and started teaching small courses to friends and family. Quickly, the need for quality and reality based first aid training was becoming overwhelming for one person. Chris expanded his services and training to include “Instructor” programs and met many amazing people who he welcomed under the umbrella of SharaLife First Aid as instructors.
