Broadway Dog Grooming was established in 2003 by Sue and Doug Martin. A lengthy illness had left Sue unemployed but when she was ready to get back to work she decided it was time to work at something she had a passion for - spending time with and nurturing animals. It seemed pet grooming was a perfect fit so she went to school to become certified and then opened a small shop. She placed a huge emphasis on the pet's total well being while being groomed. Ultimately, continuing health problems and chronic pain forced Sue to stop grooming after a few years, however she soon found others who share her passion and are sensitive to the needs of the animals. Becky Hetherington is the new professional pet stylist with Broadway Dog Grooming. She is certified as a professional pet groomer and has been with us since April 2014. Sue now co-ordinates appointments and feels fortunate to serve in this capacity, happy to still have contact with her pet & human clientelle. Doug does all the heavy lifting, shop renovations and maintenance. Broadway Dog Grooming receives praise for excellent grooming services from various customers.
