Canneberges NB Cranberries Agency is a non-profit organization representing all cranberry producers in New Brunswick. The Agency operates through a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of six grower representatives, and is legislated through the Natural Products Act as administered by the New Brunswick Farm Products Commission. Commercial plantings of cranberries in NB began in 1994. In 2014 there were 25 cranberry farms in NB with approximately 873 planted acres. NB is the third largest producing province of cranberries today, in a nation that is the second largest producer in the world.
