Review about Goodwill Varsity Thrift Store and Donation Centre, Calgary
4 years ago
I was there today and most of the stuff was overpriced. For example, I saw some small tubes of acrylic paint from Dollorama, with $2 on the package, then on the back, a Goodwill sticker for 2.50! Also the music was incredibly loud, I asked the cashier to please turn it down. She said the manager won't let them touch the music system! I am so tired of the loud music from a local radio station and the loud DJ or announcer. It's particularly difficult to look through the books with a speaker right there, relentlessly hurting my eardrums! I wrote down the titles and authors of a few books that I was interested in, and will get them from the library or another thrift shop. No sale, and it will be a Frosty Friday before I will go back there! Or if I do go back it will be with total noise protective headphones or something. Goodwill Varsity, you can do better!
