They just moved us from BC to Ontario. Charged us additional 1500 in warehouse fees. Refused to provide scale info. Refused to move items into the rooms they were labeled for, even after paying additional for stair fees. Half of our belongings were damaged. Customer service through this was awful.

Dear Mike, we thank you for your feedback and your recent relocation with Canadian Premium VL. We understand that not everyone is happy with every step of the process and we value and appreciate your opinion and feedback. However, we do want to clear and address things. In your review you did not mentioned that you added substantially more inventory to the items that you shipped. An additional 72 items were added to the items that were picked up. Those items were furniture items, boxes, bins and other heavy items. You did not mention this in your recent review that those items you did add and did not want to be charged for moving those items. However, we do confirm that if additional items are added and your weight is within the applicable minimum weight charges, a handling fee would apply. Furthermore, we did look into your billing and you were not charged anywhere near $1500.00 for the additional inventory despite almost doubling your inventory. You were charged much less and an additional substantial discount was offered which you accepted and confirmed. To address your comment about delivery - this was also not true. We did not refuse to deliver your goods. We actually called you this week and asked you if we can deliver the goods as early as June 4th, but you requested a later date as your floors were being finished. We picked up the goods in BC on May 25th and we were ready to deliver the shipment as early as June 4th, 2024. However, you asked for a few days storage and as per your request, your goods are scheduled to be delivered for June 7th, 2024. In conclusion, CP Van Lines takes customer satisfaction very seriously and we understand that not everyone is happy with the service they receive. However, our fine print is not a fine print. We clearly outlined to you that the quote was always based on the inventory that you presented to us before booking the move and that by adding additional items to the shipment may result in additional fees as those items require more space and labour to be moved. We take great pride in ensuring that all of our clients are well aware of the terms and conditions prior to the move taking place to ensure that there are no unpleasant suprises. We truly appreciate your feedback and we wish you all the best in your new place.
