I bought a dress that began running at the seam like a nylon stocking after being worn twice. I returned it to the store and was told I couldn't return it with the tags off. I explained that I was not returning it as unused; (I had already explained it had been worn), but I was returning it as defective. I was told to come back with the receipt as they could do nothing without it, even though they admitted it had been bought there a few weeks before. I sent it back with my sister in law with the receipt since I live 2 hours away. She was told that it could not be returned because the tags had been cut off. The woman who says she is the district manager came along and says she remembered talking to me and told me that as well. NOT TRUE. She told me to bring it back with the receipt! I get the distinct impression that they will say anything to put you off, regardless of the problem at hand. I will never buy anything there again.
