Improperly installed tiles....We had our cermaic tile installed by Sacwal Sarnia in 2011 in the kitchen. Over $5000 later, we have cracked and lifting tiles and hollow popping sounds when walking on the floor. Three separate flooring contractors came in and each said the exact same thing --- the tile was improperly installed over plywood, and the only fix is to pull the entire floor out and start over. I emailed the owner and told him that I had a contractor in who told me it was improperly installed and that's why it was cracking/lifting. His response: he just wants you to spend money redoing it. I don't know about Sacwal's owner, but to me, $5000 is a lot of money especially when trying to raise a family. It makes me sick to think about this wasted investment in our home.
