Hampstead, Cote St. Luc, Lachine or the West Island of Montreal and you need an automobile mechanic that’s really competent, reliable and honest, I strongly recommend going to Garage A& P on Rue St. Jacques. Since buying my used car, I have relied on them to provide really excellent auto repair service. I have never been disappointed either in the quality of the repairs or in the price. They enthusiastically fixed my small road related emergencies like a shock busted loose from a nasty pothole and can be relied on to deliver regular maintenance like oil changes, headlight replacements and seasonal tire changes with very little advanced notice. As an added convenience there is a body shop next door and a hand car wash half a block away so you can pretty much get your entire car repair and maintenance work handled in a single trip just off the 20 and 15 auto routes. And if you have to leave the car with them, there is regular bus service to nearby Vendome metro.
