Review about Buy Sell Tires, Aldergrove
I have never left a bad review until now. 11 times they worked on my car and couldn’t fix the issues with the tires they put on. That’s right… 11 different times. Leaky tires, their tire sensors weren’t working, they left lug nuts off the tires, put a REGULAR NUT than spun on the stud instead of an actual lug nut, and more below. No apologies from any staff, and the owner said I was lying. I took it to Curtis Tire in Abbotsford, and they fixed the issues within 2 hours. I am a very patient person, and a very understanding person. However this business is unprofessional, and I feel I should warn people of this place. I got tires in September and I had to keep bringing them back as they were leaking, and the tire sensors wouldn’t work.
I first visited this business in September of 2020. I asked them for winter tires/rims for my 2010 Buick Lacrosse (Not an uncommon vehicle). They advised me that it could take a little bit of driving for the sensors to calibrate. No problem! After about 4.5 hours, the vehicle was ready. I drove it around for the rest of that day, and part of the following day and the sensor light never went off. No problem! I phoned in to advise them, and they said no problem to just bring it by again, and they’d fix it. While driving it around, I’d also noticed one of the tires leaking, to which they said they could also fix. Up until this point it’s been a great experience!
The following day I took my vehicle back there so they could repair the leak, and fix the sensors. Previously to this I had no problem whatsoever with my regular tires or sensors. They had my vehicle for 6.5 hours. I finally got my car back, and the sensors still didn’t work. “No problem” I thought, “I just need to drive it around”. The following day the sensors were still not working.
This is now my third visit. They had the vehicle for 5 hours to work on the leaky tire and sensors. The next day, the sensors still didn’t work, and the tire is still leaking.
Visits 4-6 They worked on the tire sensors and the leaking tire. The next day, the sensors still didn’t work, and the tire is still leaking.
After this sixth visit I called in to speak to a manager to advise them of the situation, as I felt that they should be aware in the event that this “business” couldn’t fix my tires. I was transferred to Cory/Corrie who is who I’ve been dealing with, so at this point I’m assuming he’s the manager. (This comes up later).
Now my seventh visit. They worked on the tire sensors and the leaking tire. The next day, the sensors still didn’t work, and the tire is still leaking.
Now my eighth visit. They worked on the tire sensors and leaky tire, and once again, they still don’t work, and my tire still leaks. It’s now becoming a joke amongst my friends and family that I have to make my weekly visits to Buy Sell Tires. Still I’m being patient, Cory/Corrie (unsure of spelling) assures me that he’ll be able to get it.
Now my ninth visit. They worked on the tire sensors and leaky tire, and once again the sensors still didn’t work, and the tire is still leaking.
Now my tenth visit. They worked on the tire sensors and leaky tire, and once again, they still don’t work, and of course the tire is still leaking. I go pick my vehicle up at night. I arrived right before closing to pick up the keys. I left as a sibling had picked me up, then we came back to pick my car up. By now all the staff is gone, and I’ve already picked up my keys. I noticed that on one side is a regular nut. NOT a lug nut, but just your average nut spinning on the stud. I’ll include pictures to show. I also notice that on the other side of the car, there is simply a lug nut missing. When I went to drop it off, ALL THE LUG NUTS WERE THERE!!! I was frustrated by this, and decided to give them one last chance to fix it. Once again, this whole time I’ve been very polite, I’m a pretty mellow person, and I don’t get upset at people
