I've rented from many car companies including Budget with very little to complain but this location is in a different world all together. It seem like they actively try to s*** people over. Being in Toronto for one day, I naively walked into their office and asked for their rate for an economy car. The guy in front said $36/day pretty high but what the hell, I'll take. The guy asks for a driver license and credit card and goes about his business and pulls up a bill and the total is $62. I looked puzzled and say why is it so high. He then mentions that there is a $10 "Convenience Fee" at this location being in such a great location. "Shouldn't you mention this with the price"? I say which he replies "It's pretty standard" (which is not). I then say ok thank you, I'll look around - which to my dismay he replies back "I've already registered you in the system, you must pay"!!!!! No joke!!!! An argument and some haggling later and he finally "figures out" how to cancel the order. Never felt a business could be so shady in their dealings.
