Youturn provides intensive services and supports to youth in conflict with the law, and their families. Our goal is to help our clients shift to active participation in society — and make choices that will help them remain in the community, avoid future conflict with the law and succeed in their lives. Through four core programs, we deliver counselling, education and training, clinical treatment and a range of additional supports — all focused on helping youth and families build on their strengths, develop their personal competencies and set out on a path to a productive life. Operating since 1989, Youturn is a non-profit transfer-payment agency funded by the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services, Youth Justice Branch. We are also a registered charity.

At the Carlingwood Y, our doors are open for those who wish to get healthier, find support, and make friends for life. We're a place where children, adults and families grow together while focusing on their health and wellness. The Carlingwood Y is a 20, 000 sq.-ft. inclusive, community-based facility providing unique programs and services that meet the needs of the community. This centre offers access to cardio and strength equipment, a group fitness class studio, a cycling studio, a small pool for water fitness classes and children's lessons, a children's play area, and universal, men's and women's locker rooms. Sample programs include: Strength training and aerobic conditioning, group fitness classes, personal training, TRX classes, recreational and educational programming for all ages, inviting social spaces, and child minding services. Swimming lessons and water fitness classes are also offered. Free parking is available at the Carlingwood Shopping Cen

The Door was modeled after The Door New York, a youth centre located in the heart of New York City. When it first opened, The Door took a holistic approach to the services offered and initially provided a broad range of services from recreation to legal and medical services. At The Door we are always grateful for the financial and in kind support we receive from various foundations and individuals.

The Ottawa Bicycle Club is one of the oldest and largest bicycle clubs in Canada, with more than 1100 members. The OBC offers a range of cycling programs which appeal to a range of cyclists from novice to experienced riders, for all age groups, including youth. Fully insured through the Ontario Cycling Association, the OBC's priority is safety and education, and its cyclists ride over 300, 000 kilometers each season on Ottawa-area roads with a negligible accident rate. The OBC is run on a voluntary basis by members -- only through an active membership can the club offer so many programs. Club members volunteer to lead the tours and organize club events. 
The Ottawa Bicycle Club is renowned for organizing the Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour, a long-running mass participation cycling event. New members benefit from group riding skills clinics, various group rides, time trials, and a youth program. The club also offers social events and networking opportunities. Some members praise the history, experience, and organizational capacity of the club.",
