The CVMA-SBCV Chapter provides provincial services like local professional development opportunities, social and networking events. The Chapter also represents the interests of BC veterinarians with the provincial government, animal welfare organizations and other stakeholders in the animal health care profession in that province. It is an effective provincial agent, providing local perspectives on developments and issues affecting the veterinary profession in B., and creating opportunities for those issues to be recognized and included by the CVMA in its national advocacy efforts.
