Fondé par Sensei Chantal Aubé (3e dan) et Paul L'écuyer (3e dan), KTSG a pour mission de transmettre à la population le karaté traditionnel comme méthode d'autodéfense et de développement personnel. Chantal est l’instructeur en chef de l’école de Karaté Traditionnel Shotokan Gatineau et est aussi l’élève directe du maître japonais Sensei Yutaka Katsumata, 8e dan. Enseignante au niveau primaire, avec ses 25 ans de pratique du karaté, elle enseigne cet art martial depuis 20 ans dont plus de 10 ans à la Sporthèque. Paul est l’assistant-instructeur à Karaté Traditionnel Shotokan Gatineau et est également l’élève direct de Sensei Yutaka Katsumata. Enseignant au niveau secondaire, avec ses 20 ans de pratique du karaté, il enseigne cet art martial depuis 15 ans dont plus de 10 années à la Sporthèque.
