Chair making is the most demanding piece of furniture in woodworking and this is the focus of my work. Producing heirloom quality sculpted rockers and chairs, inspired by Sam Maloof, that are not only furniture but more specifically a functional piece of art, is my goal. My workshop is located in the foothills of the Rockies, outh west of High River, Alberta. I hand select the wood from a variety of hardwoods, including walnut, maple, cherry and mahogany.
