We offer Recreational and Competitive (Part Time and Full Time) programs: Recreational Program (Tiny and Pre-K Dance, Kinder Dance, Elementary & Teen Dance) Classes range in length from 30 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on age. Recreational classes run from September to June. Tiny Dance (ages 2-3) and Pre-K Dance (ages 3-4) These 30-minute classes are an introduction to dance for our youngest dancers. Students will enjoy this upbeat class involving creative movement, basic ballet technique, songs and games. Pre-K is a continuation of our Tiny Dance program to prepare dancers for their graduation into the 4-6 age group of Recreational Classes. Tiny Dancers and Pre-K Dancers do not take part in the year-end recital; however, parents will be invited to sit in on the last class of the year to enjoy a special in-class performance by their little dancers. Kinder Dance – ages 4 to 6 years old These 45-minute classes continue to introduce dancers to the joys of dance. Dancers can choose from a variety of styles including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Ballet/Jazz. Kinder Dance students take part in our year-end recital. Elementary and Teen Dance – ages 7 years and up While further developing the student’s technique, these 45-minute classes will also fuel their passion for dance. Classes are available in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Lyrical/Contemporary. Students in these classes also participate in our year-end recital. Competitive Looking for more intense training and more performance opportunities? The Artistic Dance Scene Competitive Company may be the right place for you. Part Time Competitive Dancers train between 3-6 hours per week depending on age. Full Time Competitive Dance train 7-15 hours per week depending on age and class choices. Ballet & Jazz are mandatory core classes for all age groups. Competitive dancers also train in Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and Conditioning. Artistic Dance Scene is a beloved dancing school with inclusive and affordable programs. The studio's caring owners and skilled instructors create a family atmosphere where children are treated equally. Patients teachers provide a fun learning experience.
