We are involved in our immediate community of North Vancouver, the Downtown Eastside community, and through our affiliation with the United Church of Canada's Mission and Service Fund we are involved in projects around the world. The Social Justice mandate of the United Church reinforces the idea that our ministry is not just what we do at church, it’s about how we live our lives, how we are active as a church community beyond the walls of our church. Under the leadership of the Mission and Outreach Team, we provide opportunities for hands-on involvement in Outreach Projects, and we also support and encourage the valuable contribution many of our members make in their daily lives - at work, in their neighborhoods and schools, in service to others. We share our facilities with the Burnaby Taiwanese Presbyterian Church, who gather for worship at 2:00pm on Sundays. Brentwood Presbyterian has been a lively and welcoming place of worship, learning, and community for over 50 years. Northwest Burnaby is growing rapidly and we welcome our new neighbours to share the experience of the redeeming love of God in Jesus Christ. Music is an essential part of our community and we are blessed to have Daniel Reynolds, a rising star in the Vancouver jazz community, as our Director of Music.
