The Nanaimo Motocross Association is a non-profit organization that operates on a combination of membership dues, sponsorship contributions and donations. The association was formed 20 years ago and continues to grow each year with over 350 members in 2009. Racers range from as young as four years old all the way up to the “Plus 40” class, and the “Ladies” class is growing each year. The Vancouver Island Series has gone from three tracks in 2007 to five tracks in 2009! Nanaimo has hosted rounds of the Canadian Pro National Championships and we are proud to have it regularly described by the national riders, promoters and the media as one of the best and most challenging tracks in Canada. Our Wastelands Motocross Park is open year round for riders to practice casually or train for the race season. Many enjoy camping at the facility with friends and family.
