Welcome to National Diabetes Trust, Canada's largest charitable clothing and small household goods collection service and the social enterprise of Diabetes Canada. With more than 5, 000 donation bins and an active home pick-up service in communities across Canada, we collect unwanted gently used clothing and household items to raise much-needed funds for Diabetes Canada. This helps support programs and research on behalf of the 11 million Canadians living with diabetes and pre-diabetes. But, we're more than just clothing donation collectors. We are an organization of dedicated professionals working with Canadians from coast to coast fighting to End Diabetes through waste diversion. Each year, the program diverts more than 100 million lbs. of clothing and household items from landfill sites across Canada. With your help, we can continue to support diabetes research, education and reduce our environmental impact. Schedule a pick up today!

The Nanaimo Motocross Association is a non-profit organization that operates on a combination of membership dues, sponsorship contributions and donations. The association was formed 20 years ago and continues to grow each year with over 350 members in 2009. Racers range from as young as four years old all the way up to the “Plus 40” class, and the “Ladies” class is growing each year. The Vancouver Island Series has gone from three tracks in 2007 to five tracks in 2009! Nanaimo has hosted rounds of the Canadian Pro National Championships and we are proud to have it regularly described by the national riders, promoters and the media as one of the best and most challenging tracks in Canada. Our Wastelands Motocross Park is open year round for riders to practice casually or train for the race season. Many enjoy camping at the facility with friends and family.
