Nanaimo Disability Resource Centre are a registered charity serving persons with disabilities since 1990. We identify needs and offer programs and services to promote greater participation in our community. We provide interactive presentations to various community groups and organizations to speak about our programs and services. 
The Nanaimo Discovery Centre is a community resource, primarily run on contributions with limited staff. Customers praise the friendly and helpful staff, volunteers, and the great service they provide. Some have received assistance with obtaining disability placards.
