The Bridge Markham is a community church emphasizing inclusivity but with conflicting practices towards individuals identifying as gay or queer. Volunteer opportunities are available and the environment is clean and comfortable. Worship services feature good music and Bible-based sermons from rotating pastors. Friendly and welcoming congregation.

Markham Little Theatre is an all-volunteer community theatre group, active since 1966. MLT is a not-for-profit organization, and a registered charity. Backstage is our "off-stage" home, located on the grounds of the Markham Museum, at 16th Avenue and Highway 48. MLT is a member of ACT-CO, the Association of Community Theatres - Central Ontario, and we participate in the annual ACT-CO Festival. Over the years, MLT has been the recipient of many nominations and awards.
