Markham Little Theatre is an all-volunteer community theatre group, active since 1966. MLT is a not-for-profit organization, and a registered charity. Backstage is our "off-stage" home, located on the grounds of the Markham Museum, at 16th Avenue and Highway 48. MLT is a member of ACT-CO, the Association of Community Theatres - Central Ontario, and we participate in the annual ACT-CO Festival. Victoria Angel Registry of Hope is proud and excited to announce that our public cord blood bank has released a cord blood unit for medical treatment! The frozen stem cells have been shipped over the Atlantic to give medical treatment to a sick patient in need of a life-saving bone marrow transplant. We know little about the patient who is gratefully receiving this life-saving treatment. I’m certain that he or she is surrounded with friends and family who are happy and relieved that a suitable stem cell unit has been located.
