Since founding in 1986, Saint Germain Bakery has in many occasions commissioned top pastry chefs from France, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia to pass their baking techniques to the staff in our Canadian flagship bakery. A unique art of baking is therefore created and mastered through assimilating top baking disciplines in the world. Customers appreciate the quality of pastries, cakes, and lobster rolls at Saint Germain Bakery. Favorites include the 3xcheese toast, tuna/egg sandwiches, mango cake, Portuguese tarts, curry and chicken buns, and fresh mango cake. Some find the prices a bit high but are willing to pay for the good quality. A few customers have had issues with overcooked pastries and incorrect orders. One customer found a worm in a cake, which was a traumatic experience.
