The Minnekhada Park Association (MPA) was formed in 2002 and invites you to become actively involved. Our Mission is to preserve, protect and enhance the natural environment of Minnekhada Regional Park, while advocating respect, appreciation and enjoyment of the Park's natural and historic attributes as well as recreational resources. Please join us if you: love the outdoors and nature, would like to be involved in the preservation of the historic buildings at the Farm, are keen to see studied improvements made to the Park Farm and Lodge or you simply want to be involved with a group of park users who really care about our local treasure here in Coquitlam. Minnekhada Park Association is highly regarded for its scenic trails, suitable for dogs on leashes, families with children, and those attending events at the beautiful lodge. The park offers various lookouts and is rich in history. Hiking enthusiasts recommend the high and low knolls. Warnings to watch out for bears during spring and fall and to securely dispose of food and garbage are consistently mentioned.
