Ammena Dance Company was founded in 2004 being the first adult dance studio in Lethbridge. Lise-Anne Talhami, owner of Ammena Dance Company, had a vision of bringing the cultural and fitness aspects of dance together to make a unique exciting workout. In 2007 the studio had grown and students started to show interest in showcasing their new found talent. This started the annual production "An Explosion of World Dance and Music, " bringing together local musicians, dancers, and artists. The first year the show was held in the intimate settings of the Sterndale Bennett Theatre. There was such a wonderful response that in March 2008 we moved the show to the large stage of the Yates Memorial Centre for the Performing Arts. The company is excited for another wonderful year of growth. Moving into a new space with two large dance and yoga rooms and a majestic reception area to relax, have tea and talk with all the ladies. In our new space we are ready to prepare another wonderful show for March 2013.

Ammena Dance Company, led by Lise-Anne, is a welcoming and supportive studio that caters to dancers of all levels. Students appreciate her patience, encouragement, and ability to accommodate individual needs. Lise-Anne creates a fun and inclusive environment, making dance an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Classes offer personalized instruction and help students achieve their goals, from learning basic steps to preparing for special occasions.
