A Long History The Kingston Veterinary Clinic is the oldest, continuously operating veterinary clinic in Kingston. It is located in the heart of Kingston at 435 Division St. The original building was intended to be a grocery store, but never opened it’s doors for business. A local medical doctor bought the building and health care products such as toothpaste and eye drops were produced. In 1950 Dr. Wilmer Nuttall purchased the building and converted it into a mixed animal veterinary clinic. Bill (“Doc”) Osborne joined the practice in 1951 and served the community until his retirement in 1985. A new building was erected on the same site in 1985 and it has operated as a companion animal practice since then. A Passion for Kingston In 1993 Dr Ken Ross joined the practice and in 2007 purchased the building and practice. Ken has enjoyed living in Kingston and raising his family in this beautiful limestone city.
Kingston Veterinary Clinic is highly recommended by numerous pet owners for their compassionate and caring approach towards pets and their owners. Many have had positive experiences with the clinic, praising the genuine and friendly staff and the professional and thorough treatment provided. Some customers have expressed gratitude for the clinic's honesty and respect for their decisions regarding their pets' care. The clinic is known for its efficient and prompt service, and the vets are described as knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. Pet parents appreciate the quiet and soothing environment, especially during difficult times such as putting a pet to sleep.
