Our History and Purpose Founded in 1954 as Green Bay Baptist Camp, the founders of the camp had a great vision when they acquired this 11 acre property that was only accessible to the other side of the lake by ferry. Green Bay is located in the heart of the Okanagan Valley in West Kelowna, on the shores of Lake Okanagan - West Kelowna's urban oasis. This lakefront property houses a chapel and dining area, year-round guest lodge, summer cabins, full size gymnasium, huge field space, the largest enclosed dock on the lake and much more. Green Bay Bible Camp was established as a missionary arm of the Northern American Baptist (NAB) denomination, as a means of reaching girls and boys and young people for Christ through kids and family camps. Over time, Green Bay has developed a niche for excellence in family camping. Family camps provide an opportunity for all ages to attend together in a stress free environment. Our camps run successfully through the service of our Discipleship Training, Mentorship and Leadership Programs. Green Bay Bible Camp is committed to serving families and kids and to developing next generation disciples and leaders through these programs. It is our desire to help students and young adults deepen their relationship with God and discover the gifts and abilities God has given them.
