The South Simcoe Ball Hockey Leagues endeavors to ensure the continued improvement of individual playing skills and enjoyment of the game through, contributing to the individual's personal growth through the development of self-confidence, fair play, and sportsmanship, monitoring and ensuring the fair and equitable distribution of playing time, and improvement of the individual's skill base. 
The South Simcoe Ball Hockey Leagues receive praise from several customers for being well-organized and providing opportunities for children to learn and compete in a professional manner. Marco, the league convener, is frequently mentioned for his pleasant demeanor, organization skills, and dedication to the children. Some families have had positive experiences with their children advancing to provincial teams and enjoying the games.
