Welcome to National Diabetes Trust, Canada's largest charitable clothing and small household goods collection service and the social enterprise of Diabetes Canada. With more than 5, 000 donation bins and an active home pick-up service in communities across Canada, we collect unwanted gently used clothing and household items to raise much-needed funds for Diabetes Canada. This helps support programs and research on behalf of the 11 million Canadians living with diabetes and pre-diabetes. But, we're more than just clothing donation collectors. We are an organization of dedicated professionals working with Canadians from coast to coast fighting to End Diabetes through waste diversion. Each year, the program diverts more than 100 million lbs. of clothing and household items from landfill sites across Canada. It features pool tables and various functions. The submarine races provide lots of laughs. The hall is great for holding functions of any kind, with a comfortable banquet setting and excellent service from the staff. The old place may not have been updated since the war, but the cold beer and super servers make it worth a visit. Some visitors have held reunions here and have had great experiences.

Hamilton Food Share‘s purpose is to increase our community's capacity to reduce hunger. We do this by supplying much needed food supplies and short-term storage to food banks and hot meal programs. Additionally, our organization establishes community partnerships, donor relations and fundraising activities that support our food recovery operation. Our support is vital as the resources allocated by Hamilton Food Share defray costs for the emergency food programs and redirect these savings to other program areas.
