Manufacturing of ground engaging tools, cutting edges, bucket edges and end bits for OEM manufacturers in the construction and mining industries in North America and Europe. TC History TC Industries began in 1881 as the Spring Valley Tile Works. In 1887, the name was changed to the American Terra Cotta and Ceramic Company. In 1935, the company was acquired by the Berry family and became the American Terra Cotta Corporation. In 1948, as a result of WWII, the business converted to steel heat treating and became the American Steel Treating Company. In 1955, the Mill Products Division was formed and five years later, the Processed Steel Company was formed. In 1972, TC Industries, Inc. was incorporated as a holding company for Mill Products Division, Processed Steel Company and our international plants in Canada and the UK. TC is Family Owned TC Industries has been owned by the Berry family since 1935. Bob and George Berry are the current Presidents and remain active in day to day operations. Bert and Sterling Berry are the newest additions to TC and are the son and daughter of George. Today we employ over 700 team members in the U., Canada and the U.
