In 2009, twelve leading Alberta architectural firms came together to discuss establishing an organization to build a positive business environment for their profession. As a result, the Consulting Architects of Alberta was founded to represent, advocate for, and support practicing architects in the province. It serves as the industry voice for member firms and promotes the value-added work delivered by consulting architects. The association works to promote the role of architects and spark industry dialogue on key business issues.
