What is BMX A BMX race is a head-to-head moto (heat) of up to 8 racers of the same age and skill level. A race starts from the starting gate where all riders leave at the same time and race as fast as they can over dirt jumps, around banked corners, and across the finish line. The words "Race Ya!" take on a whole new meaning. The winner is the racer who crosses the finish line first. Typically you will race (3) three motos or heats per event and more if you qualify for quarter, semi and the main-event finals.
