Sylvia A. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, followed by a Masters Degree of Science in Occupational Therapy (thesis based), from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Her initial professional focus was in the area of pediatrics at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital (GRH), Edmonton.
