As your advocate to all three levels of government and the University, the Students' Union is committed to ensuring that your education is affordable and of the highest quality. You can get involved in advocacy by becoming a student councillor and shaping our political policy, by volunteering with our campus campaigns, or by getting involved with your faculty association. Our wide variety of services exists to ensure your student experience is as rewarding, fun - and as easy - as possible. From our housing registry to Safewalk to the Week of Welcome, the Students' Union strives to provide the highest quality services... and the way we create quality services is through our volunteers. If you get involved with our services, you could find yourself helping students in distress in the Student Distress Centre, helping to make our campus greener with ECOS, or creating a vibrant campus atmosphere through our many student groups. The Students' Union is also owner of a number of campus businesses that add to the student experience while considering the finances of students. You can enjoy an Oilers home game at Room at the Top, shoot some pool at Deweys, or buy fair trade coffee from Cram Dunk. All profits directed from our businesses are reinvested back into the Students' Union in order to improve our services and strengthen our advocacy campaigns.
